Out in service this morning. Put in a car group with my mom, Aunt Patti, and Uncle Mark. Great. Uncle Mark. Here we go again. As usual I try to go take doors with someone thats not him, but inevitably, I was put with my Uncle Mark. I’d just like to point out that when I am one-on-one with him, he either asks the same questions (“Are you still making pizza?” “What are you doing for school, again?” etc.), or drills me about my personal life. There was a mix of both going on. Its like he is trying to help, but also make me feel stupid about my decisions. And this was the first time I’ve been alone with him since he’s found out about me moving out. Let me start off by saying that he (loudly, mind you) makes the assumption that a certain person is my girlfriend. Then he asks me if I have job lined up, my living arrangemtents (along with the condescending look of slight disapproval), schooling, what congregation I’m attending. The works. And I am happy to say that I held myself together and answered each question as mature as possible. Also, funny story, he asked my I didn’t prefer my current hall. Now THAT I lied about. Wouldn’t want him knowing THAT answer.
